Hi, I’m amanda

I have always been interested in a more natural view of health care and the importance of empowering individuals to be active in their health journey. I started my education with an interest and love for movement, and graduated in 2014 from Trinity Western University with a Bachelor’s of Human Kinetics with a specialization in Kinesiology (BHK).

After working as a kinesiologist, I started to notice that there was something missing in my personal wellness journey and the lives of the people I worked with, which lead me to a deeper discovery and love of nutrition - I went on to complete my certification in Holistic Nutrition from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2016 (CHN).

Working with both movement and nutrition, I looked to pair these aspects together for a more holistic view of health and really work towards natural, preventative care for the whole body.

And that’s where Osteopathy enters the conversation. I was truly thrilled to discover osteopathy, as it started to fill in the blanks for me. It allowed me to take what I knew about the human body and nutrition, and apply it in a way that resulted in an environment where the body could function in the way it was meant to function. I graduated from the principled-based, four-year program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2024 with a Master in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.MOSc). I am a member of the professional association OSTCAN. I look forward to working with you!
